We understand the stress of being charged with a criminal offence & offer FIXED FEES for all legal representation so there is one less thing to worry about.
As all legal issues are different & procedural requirements vary in each Court, we will review your matter first before advising on the FIXED FEE. This includes taking your instructions in a FREE conference, where we will discuss your fee and provide all clients with a Costs Agreement, as required by the Legal Profession Uniform Law.
Fees are for solicitor representation only, if a barrister is briefed their appearance fees will incur an extra charge.
All fees quoted will incur 10% GST.
Bail applications, court filings, or subpoenas will incur additional fees, however there is no extra charge for court mentions, callovers or court waiting time.
Court costs (as ordered by the Court) will incur additional fees payable by the client.
If you are eligible we can make an Application for a grant of Legal Aid on your behalf. If you need a solicitor for court and you don’t have enough money to pay, you may be eligible for a grant of Legal Aid.
People who get help from a solicitor to complete an application are the most successful at being approved for a grant of Legal Aid. Burwood Criminal Defence is a registered Legal Aid Panel Solicitor for all criminal matters and can advise if you are eligible.
